Liv Arias rubbed goose bumps from her arms as she read the words scrawled on the sign taped under a maniacal-looking wasp painted on the wall of the gym. Nothing can save you from the sting! More hand-drawn posters hung crookedly around the ridiculous mascot, bubbly cheerleader handwriting declaring that the Millbourne Yellowjackets were going to take down the Creekside Tigers. Some smart-ass had drawn a tiger with a swollen face and an EpiPen with an X through it. Nothing can save you.
Because it all felt off. The new name for the school. The weird, too-smiley mascot. That building had been knocked down within months of the tragedy.

Gephard doesn’t even glance at the paper but blinks up at me as though I’m speaking gibberish. The back of my neck goes hot. It’s just one stupid question.
Her novels have garnered starred reviews from Publisher’s Weekly and the Library Journal, as well as being awarded top picks by many reviewers. Really enjoyed this one. First off, the cover for this book is totally off-putting. This not at all how I imagine Drew to look like. Second off, I usually avoid NA books. This, my friends, is a fa And it’s beautiful to me, but I didn’t know how to live under your light. I really enjoyed this one. Drew and Anna were both great characters and I really enjoyed their No, it walked up to me, bold as you please, you know, just in case I wasn’t paying attention.
It did, however, slap me upside my head. Mysza “You’ll see Drew. One day, love will creep up and smack you upside the head. A bolt, a pass, a game, whatever.

Description The first time I met Jax Blackwood things went a little sideways. More importantly, a blizzard was coming and he was about to grab the last carton of mint-chocolate chip. Still, I might have walked away, but then he smugly dared me to try and take the coveted ice cream. So I kissed him. And distracted that mint-chip right out of his hands.
Okay, it was a dirty move, but desperate times and all that.

More on my Goodreads account: My Goodreads account Synopsis taken from Goodreads: Anna Jones just wants to finish college and figure out her life. Falling for star quarterback Drew Baylor is certainly not on her to do list.
I gape up at him, too shocked to even form a proper glare. And he squints back, that inane smile still in place, as if he’s waiting for me to answer. My mind is stuck on one thing.
Anna Jones just wants to finish college and figure out her life. Falling for star quarterback Drew Baylor is certainly not on her to do list. Confident and charming, he lives in the limelight and is way too gorgeous for his own good. If only she could ignore his heated stares and stop thinking about doing hot and dirty things with him. But what he really craves is sexy yet prickly Anna Jones. Her cutting humor and blatant disregard for his fame turns him on like nothing else. That is until a chance encounter leads to the hottest sex of their lives, along with the possibility of something great.
Unfortunately, Anna wants it to remain a hook up. It’s a good thing Drew knows all about winning. I had this one on my kindle for awhile and finally decided to give it a go as I was feeling a New Adult kick starting. I finally decided to give it a second chance and I am glad I did because it did get much better. The first pages of this book were a huge miss for me. The insta-love was a turn-off and both characters came off cheesy and annoying. Overall it was a good read.

I seriously thought this young college two-some would be the end of me.
